60 Day Challenge 2020/21 terms and conditions
60 Day Challenge runs from 1 August 2020 – 31 March 2021
No purchase is necessary and the 60 Day Challenge (competition) is free to enter.
Entrants must be 13 years or older. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to take part in the 60 Day Challenge. Please have them read these terms and conditions with you. If you are a parent or legal guardian of an entrant under the age of 18, by allowing your child to take part in the 60 Day Challenge, you are subject to the terms and conditions and responsible for your child’s activity on the challenge and Indeemo app.
Entrants must live in statutory Essex; any other entrants will be disqualified.
Entrants must sign up to the 60 Day Challenge using the form on the 60 Day Challenge page.
Entrants must download and register to the Indeemo app to take part in the 60 Day Challenge using the link to Indeemo provided at point of sign up.
To qualify for 60 Day Challenge, sign up promotions, prize draws and weekly bonus challenges; tasks must be completed within the Indeemo app and in accordance with instructions given unless otherwise specified. All Indeemo App task uploads (picture, video or note) must have been taken or carried out in Essex.
Competition winners will be drawn as specified (see prizes and schedule) after entries to each prize draw or bonus challenge have closed. Closing dates will be clearly specified within the Indeemo app.
Prizes will be awarded as per prizes and schedule to Entrants that live in statutory Essex. Proof of age and postal code may be required for eligibility of prizes.
No cash alternatives are available, but we reserve the right to substitute an advertised prize for another of equal or greater value should the original become unavailable.
We reserve the right to re-draw the prize(s) if the winner cannot be contacted within 7 working days or is otherwise deemed ineligible to take part in the 60 Day Challenge. Winners will be notified of their win via email and/or Indeemo app notification unless otherwise specified.
We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions or to withdraw 60 Day Challenge entrants at our discretion.
Winners may be asked to take part in 60 Day Challenge publicity or feature in Stop.Swap.GO! marketing communications.
Any prize winner is bound by any terms and conditions which are attached to a promotion or prize (e.g. if the prize is a voucher, winners must comply with the terms and conditions of that voucher or any restrictions relating to where/when it can be used). No written correspondence or discussion of the competition outcome will be entered into.
We reserve the right to publish and share the names of successful 60 Day Challenge winners on Essex County Council broadcast channels such as websites, social media and e-newsletters.
Essex County Council reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events arising beyond its control or right to postpone or cancel the competition and/or to amend or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice or liability. Any changes will be posted within these Terms and Conditions. Neither Essex County Council nor its agents are responsible for third party acts or omissions.
Entrants must act in a safe and responsible manner when taking part on the 60 Day Challenge by adhering to all United Kingdom rules and regulations or any reasonable safe act whilst walking, cycling or scooting during the competition. We reserve the right to withdraw 60 Day Challenge entrants at our discretion, if found to be acting in an unsafe and irresponsible manner.
Entrants warrant to us that their uploads of pictures, videos and notes are of their own work and that it does not contain anything that is defamatory, obscene or otherwise offensive.
We shall not be responsible for any and all actions, claims, losses and expenses in respect of loss or damage incurred by any entrant or winner and/or any guest, parent or guardian (where applicable) in connection with entering this competition or the enjoyment of the prizes.
The entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the promoter of the Stop.Swap.GO! and any of its affiliated partners against all claims arising in respect of any injury, death, sickness or ill-health caused to or suffered by the entrant as a result of this competition.
We shall not be liable for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any person as a result of taking part (or not being able to take part) in the competition or as a result of taking up (or not being able to take up) a prize.
The indemnity on this competition shall not cover entrants to the extent that a claim under this clause results from an entrant(s) [gross] negligence or wilful misconduct.
The laws of England apply to this challenge.
By entering the 60 Day Challenge, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The promoter of the Stop. Swap. GO! 60 Day Challenge is Essex County Council, whose decision regarding any aspect of this competition shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
