Oak Road via Mayole Road (600m approx.)

Drop off where Oak Road meets Walnut Tree Way.  Turn left onto Walnut Tree Way, continue along Walnut Tree Way and turn right onto Maypole Road. Cross Maypole Road onto Barbrook Lane then turn left onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

From the East – walking only

Barbrook Lane via Green Lane (600m approx.)

Drop off where Barbrook Lane meets Grove Road. Turn left onto Barbrook Lane, continue straight and at the end of the road turn right onto Green Lane. Turn right onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

From the South East – walking only

Shelley Avene via Wilkin Drive (1.2km approx.)

Drop off where Shelley Avenue meets Wilkin Drive. Turn left onto Wilkin drive, continue along Wilkin drive and turn left onto Grove Road. Turn left onto Haycroft Way. Continue along then turn left onto a footpath located between houses, then turn right onto Green Lane. Continue straight on Green Lane and turn right onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

From the South – walking only

Green Lane (600m approx.)

Drop off where Green Lane meets Grove Road. Continue straight along Green Lane onto Barbrook Lane. Turn right onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

From the South – walking only

Church Road (1.12km approx.)

Drop off on Church Road. Continue on Church Road and turn right onto Maypole Road, turn right onto Barbrook Lane. Turn left onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

From the South West – walking only

Maldon Road (1.12km approx.)

Drop off where Maldon Road meets Anchor Road. Turn right onto Maldon Road, continue straight on Maldon Road and turn right onto Barbrook Lane. Turn left onto Spinneyfields to reach Thurstable School.

Bus routes

Tiptree is a crossroads for multiple bus services, between Kelvedon, Colchester, Maldon and Tolleshunt D’Arcy. Those services are approximately 300 metres from the school in the town centre. Services to Colchester go past the front of the school.
