Beaulieu Park School, The
Getting to and from the Beaulieu Park School
These routes and maps are suggestions of how you could stop taking the car and swap to cycling, walking, or scooting to school. They don’t show every possible route and you could have fun finding a way that works for you. If you know a safe way that gets you there even quicker, that’s great! Take that route instead.
Heavy traffic zone
The highlighted heavy traffic zone on the map shows the area that will have the heaviest traffic at school time. By using alternate routes and a mix of walking and cycling, you can avoid sitting in traffic and being late for school.
At the heart of a brand new development, Beaulieu Park is blessed with a great network of footpaths. There are straight routes throughout the estate, providing off-road cut-throughs for walkers. There are crossing islands throughout and just under half a mile away is a pelican crossing on White Hart Lane. This allows safe walking to the suburb of Springfield.
The Beaulieu estate has plenty of cycle routes throughout, so it’s really easy to get from one side to the other on by bike. A great deal of this is either on marked shared-use paths or through the estates green space.
One bus route goes past the school to the Beaulieu Park and Springfield estates and into Chelmsford city centre. The nearest stop is 200 metres from the school. It has seating, shelter and a raised kerb to help boarding.
